How To Learn To Speak Spanish
The best way to do this is to make sure that you are utilizing the language outside the classroom. Try switching your Yahoo! page to either Yahoo! Mexico, Spain, Argentina or U.S. Telemundo. This will get you used to reading in the language. To practice your listening comprehension you can try listening to Spanish podcasts online. Just go to iTunes, type in Spanish, go in the podcast section… there is a ton of podcasts there that can help you from beginners to advanced speaker.
Another thing that I myself have found very useful in learning the langauge is to establish Spanish speaking pen pals over the internet. There is a lot of stuff you’ll never learn in the classroom like slang and vulgar words (it’s honestly pretty important to know this stuff). Finding a pen pal online is a great way to apply you learnt knowledge in real life. A great site for finding pen pals is inlingua.com
It’s completely free and allows you to find pen pals for almost any language you could imagine. You can even choose which country you the Spanish speaker to be from: Bolivia, Panama, Spain, Colombia, etc. They’d help you with Spanish and you would help them learn English or whatever other langauge in exchange.
